All about us - we're an open book!
Teamtheme Kent is a sports education and youth development organisation that is passionate about encouraging, supporting and increasing children's participation in sporting activities. Put simply we want children moving more, learning applicable skills, developing confidence and having huge amounts of fun.
We're so passionate about this subject in fact that we do have rather a lot to say on the matter. So please read on for more about what we do, how we do it, and put some lovely faces to the Teamtheme name by meeting our superb team below or seeing them at work over on our YouTube channel.
We provide outstanding sports across the following means Curriculum Teaching, Team Teaching, Maths on the Move (numeracy program), After School clubs, Lunch clubs, Breakfast clubs, Teacher Training and Holiday camps...phew! What more could you need?
Our philosophy is simple, to give our children the opportunity to access outstanding sports provision and express themselves in a safe and fun learning environment. We focus on the child and not the ability.
Our mascot & mantra
Slow and steady wins the race and our mascot Titch the Teamtheme Tortoise epitomises this. He promotoes that a willing attitude and sticking at it brings positive results - our focus is on the child and not the ability. Titch along with their fitness friends Tilly & Tom are a tool we use to make sport and physical activity a fun, positive and engaging experience for each child.
Make a Difference is our motto and a quote that we think sums up our intent behind it would be this:

Firmly a dog-person, Gary is a reformed coffee drinker, music lover and serious neat freak - messy P.E cupboards beware!

Equally as at home out at sea swimming as she is back in her garden tending to her green-fingered pursuits, Bernadette is all about getting the most from the great outdoors.

A Teamtheme Kent OG, Harrison's consistently charmed both the children and his team mates over the years with his quick wit, huge heart and boundless positivity.

Known as the joker of the Teamtheme pack, Louis is passionate and lively and ensures that the energy level he's bringing is always cranked right up to 'max'.

The baker of the group, Sammy would not be out of place on GBBO and delights the team with home-made goodies. Super competitive, he never hides the fact that he's in it to win it!

An amiable Argentine, Sebas is quick with a smile and - if you ask him - even quicker to tell you that there's only one superhero for him; Spiderman, no contest!

A pocket-sized coach with an abundance of energy. No wonder then that Matt can often be found in or near the biscuit tin to refuel - he's a real-life cookie monster.

Jake, the biggest child in the class energetic and competitive. Sessions are always fun fuelled. Look out when there’s a racket sport he's in it to win it!!

Actions speak louder than words
Watch the team in action as they demo our Virtual Winter Sports Week. With 8 events, over 900 children, dozens of teachers (and we suspect 1 or 2 parents in the background!) all following and competing from home during lock down there was a terrific energy and community spirit. Well done to all who took part.
