Specialists are employed to deliver lessons in physical education and sport to all year groups across the school.
I witnessed these high-quality sessions for the Reception classes throughout the morning as I moved around the school, having to pass through the hall often, taking care to avoid flying beanbags and hopping children.
The primary physical education and sport funding is used effectively to enhance the skills of teachers and pupils and therefore improve outcomes for pupils.
Funding includes the provision of specialist coaches, Teamtheme, who work alongside teachers in lessons and provide a range of after-school clubs. Participation in sporting activity after school has increased as a result.

All the coaches are extremely professional in their approach to the job and they are a pleasure to have in the school.
The children have enjoyed a variety of different sports to a higher level than that they have achieved in the past, both in class and after school.

My boys have enjoyed Teamtheme camps for the past 5 years! They love the learning of new sports, the strong engagement of the instructors well as their friendly attitude! They also like making 'Teamtheme friends'.
